Anne with an E is a Canadian television program based on the novel of " Anne of Green Gables " written by Lucy Maud Montgomery. This serie dates back to 1896 when the couple of brothers Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert decide to adopt a boy from the orphanage to help them with the chores of the house and the farm. When Matthew went to the train station to pick up the boy, he realized that the orphanage sent a girl of 13 years old called Anne Shirley.
